How it works in practice

  • Video calls and chat
    The user can contact staff at any time via a secure video link or messages/chat. This creates a sense of presence without staff needing to travel out for supervision visits.
  • Reminders & tasks
    The system sends automatic reminders for medication, meals, activities, and self-care. This increases independence and reduces the risk of worry or forgetfulness.
  • Calendar & information
    The user can clearly see when home care will come next, which interventions are planned, and which staff member will arrive. This creates predictability and safety in daily life.
  • Questionnaires & self-monitoring
    Through individual questionnaires/assessments about wellbeing, diagnosis, and regular health checks (such as blood pressure, weight, or pulse), staff gain insight into the user’s status remotely. Many potential problems can be detected early – before they lead to worry or acute situations. In addition, Cuviva is MDR IIa certified, which means that a nurse/doctor can use vital parameters for clinical assessments.
