More Home Dialysis for Better Health, Quality of Life, and Cost Control – A Scandinavian Project Funded by Interreg ÖKS

Dialysis is a life-sustaining treatment for kidney failure, typically performed in hospitals. However, research shows that when dialysis is performed at home, both health, quality of life, and costs improve.

More Home Dialysis is a Scandinavian project, funded by Interreg ÖKS, where products, services, and models are tested and developed to increase home dialysis in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. Through person-centered care, cross-border collaboration, and health innovations, the goal is to create better conditions, increase knowledge, and provide tools that enable more people with kidney failure to receive dialysis at home. The aim is to provide people with kidney failure, family members, healthcare providers, and decision-makers with the conditions, knowledge, and tools to increase home dialysis.

The project has several partners in Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. Cuviva is one of the partners participating in the project.
